Hi D.W. You have a blog, and I have a blog. My blog is pretty directionless, and somewhat stagnant, in recent times. Your blog seems to be in a bit of an ebb, too. Lots of people are abandoning blogs altogether. Should we give up on blogging?
How about other attempts at cultivating writerly community? You seem somewhat involved with a community. I've made lame attempts to be involved, but have mostly given up. I still write, but I don't even bother to submit stuff to journals anymore. Do you feel like your writing benefits significantly from your community involvement, or is the benefit mostly social?
I'm interested in any thoughts you'd be willing to share.
